What is the meaning of netiquette rules? Netiquette mean the rules of etiquette that apply when communicating over computer networks, especially the Internet.

  • Identify yourself:
    • Begin messages with a salutation and end them with your name.
    • Use a signature (a footer with your identifying information) at the end of a message
  • Include a subject line. Give a descriptive phrase in the subject line of the message header that tells the topic of the message (not just “Hi, there!”).
  • Avoid sarcasm. People who don’t know you may misinterpret its meaning.
  • Respect others’ privacy. Do not quote or forward personal email without the original author’s permission.
  • Acknowledge and return messages promptly.
  • Copy with caution

The internet is a huge place

There are so many advantages and disadvantages on the internet since the internet is a huge place. Where there is good people there is also bad people on the internet. Today I will discuss the advantages and the disadvantages of the internet.

The advantages of the internet are that you can connect with anyone from the person right next you all the way to the person over the world. Also internet is full all type of information so education is also important because you can find any information you need and it is also a good way to learn. These days teachers teach online by sending a video and making it homework instead of teaching it at class, they use sites such as Stile ( https://stileapp.com ). Entertainment is huge via the internet, it entertains everyone. Also lots of people use the internet to shop. Lastly the internet is providing us with heaps of jobs.

The disadvantages of the internet are that people can use your information and your identification. Other reasons include no one is in charge of the internet. The internet can isolate people if they get to addicted with the internet. The internet if full of viruses such as when you download anything. Also lots of people get cyberbullied every year which could lead to bad things. The internet can assist people in fraud. The internet is leading to lots of loss jobs.

If there is always a good there is always a bad.

Today I will be writing about #Game On which is stories about to stay safe on the internet and to stay cyber safe. All of the stories relate to staying cyber safe on the internet and

First of all, I will be talking about playing games. Playing games can be very addicting which is really not good because it can take over your life. Playing games too much can make people very grumpy and nasty because if you keep wanting to play and someone says to stop, you get angry and just keep wanting to play. If you play games for too long it is not healthy because you don’t get enough sleep.

Second of all, about giving out passwords. Never give out your password, not even your friend because they can go on to your account and do bad stuff such as someone pretending to be you and cyberbullying someone else. Also you can get cyber bullied.

Thirdly, never send photos to people you don’t know. When you send a photo it’s out there forever and if someone uses the photo you can’t stop them because the internet is a huge place. Lots of people can cyberbully you with that photo by changing it and making the photo bad.

Lastly free offers are never free. If there is a free offer its not free there is some sort of payment. To prevent this to happen read everything such as the terms and conditions. So if it says its free its not.

Personally I believe that the video #Game On is good because it teaches you to how to stay cyber safe.
